Who these terms are between
These terms govern the sale of products by Brant Bio (“Brant”, “we”) to the purchaser (“you”). Placing an order creates a contract on these terms. If you are ordering on behalf of an institution, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
Research use only
All products are supplied as laboratory reagents for in-vitro research use only. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or household chemicals, and they are not for human or veterinary use, including any diagnostic, therapeutic or preventive use.
Brant makes no representation that any product is safe or effective for any purpose, and provides no guidance on dosing, administration, reconstitution or experimental protocol.
Eligibility and your undertakings
By ordering you confirm that you are at least 21 years old; that you are a qualified researcher or are purchasing on behalf of a research institution; that products will be used only for in-vitro laboratory research; and that you will not resell, redistribute or supply any product for human or animal consumption.
You are responsible for handling, storing and disposing of products safely, for determining their suitability for your work, and for complying with all laws applicable to you, including any import, licensing or controlled-substance requirements in your jurisdiction.
Orders, pricing and payment
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax and shipping, which are shown at checkout. Publication of a price is an invitation to order, not an offer; a contract is formed when we accept your order. We may decline or cancel any order, including where a product is mispriced, out of stock, or where we reasonably believe the intended use falls outside these terms.
Payment is taken at the time of order. Title and risk pass on delivery to the address you supply.
Specification and certificates
Products are supplied to the specification stated on the product page, verified by an independent laboratory on a per-lot basis. The certificate of analysis for the lot supplied is the definitive statement of that lot’s purity and identity. Nothing else on this site forms part of the specification.
Returns and non-conforming goods
Returns are governed by our shipping and returns policy. Where a product does not conform to its certificate of analysis, your remedy is replacement or refund of the price paid for that product, at our option, provided you notify us within 30 days of delivery.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brant is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data, or research output, arising from the supply or use of any product. Our total liability in connection with any product is limited to the price you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published at the time you place your order.
