What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, postal address, phone number if supplied, and the contents and value of your order. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never received or stored by Brant.
When you complete the research-use confirmation at checkout, we record that you confirmed it, the wording you confirmed, the time, and the IP address the confirmation came from. This is a compliance record.
When you use the site: standard server log data, and analytics data only if you consent to it.
Why we hold it
To take, fulfil and support your order; to keep records we are required or advised to keep, including the research-use confirmation; to prevent fraud; and, with your consent, to send you catalogue and new-lot notices.
Cookies and analytics
Strictly necessary cookies run the cart, the checkout session and the age confirmation. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
Analytics cookies are set only after you consent. No analytics or advertising tag fires before consent is given, and declining leaves the store fully usable.
Who we share it with
Our payment processor, our shipping carrier, our email provider and our hosting provider, each only to the extent needed to do their job. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep it
Order and compliance records, including the research-use confirmation, are kept for seven years. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to retain. Write to privacy@brantbio.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Marketing email
We use confirmed opt-in: after you enter your address we email you a link, and you are added to the list only when you click it. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.
